In order to stay up to date on forum postings, email, events, etc. you must make sure your account settings are set to receive email notifications. (See directions below.) This is different than the email list that we send our newsletters from.
We highly encourage all of our network members to receive new email postings from the forum. You never know when someone may ask a question that you have an answer to or be selling an item that you are looking for. The only way to make this network successful is to have active participants. Regardless of your knowledge level or experience, we all have something to offer!
Receiving Email Notifications
- Login to HomeEducate.org.
- Select Profile from the Account menu.
- Select Community Settings from the menu on the left.
- Mark appropriate boxes. (see below image)
- Select Save.
To have email notifications sent to your home (registered) email address, be sure to check the following options. If you want to be notified when a new forum topic is posted please make sure you check ‘Receive an email for all new forum topics and replies?’. (option 3)
